Are you ever surprised or disappointed by life? I mean things that happen to you that you're not expecting? I know I am. Just when I think I get something figured out, and everything is going smoothly, WHAM!! I'm the bug smashing into the windshield. I try to be a pretty positive person, but sometimes, life just stinks. Bottom line! We've all "been there, done that"! I think the thing that stinks the most is when you count on people, and they let you down. Yep, you know what I'm talking about there, too! I can't count the number of times it has happened to me, so much so, that I've pretty much put up a wall because I am tired of being hurt and let down. Sometimes I wish life had an instruction book to tell me where to go and what to do. Sometimes I wonder if I'm doing the right thing, or living in the right place? I have so many dreams, and things I want to do, but yet I find myself many days stuck in the same rut and routine. Today has been one of those days where I just want to get in my car and drive to who knows where, just to get away and tell no one. I want to chunk my cell phone out the window and not talk to anyone. Another plus to being single, I can really do this if I want to! haha! I'm just stressing a bit right now over several things, and I just ask you to please pray for me. I want to trust God, but just like every other human being, we all go through these times of doubt. I just want to believe that God's got me, and He is in control!! I know I'm gonna be that bug from time to time, and so are you, but what if instead of running into a windshield, we ran into our Father's arms?? Isn't that where we find our true peace? Sometimes this life is not always roses, but praise God this life is not the end of our story!! Thanks for your prayers and letting me vent!! :-) God Bless!!
