This blog is for all the people who grew up in Fairfield, IL!! I came across a few pictures on Facebook tonight, and wanted to share. I've lived in Nashville for over 8 years now, and as much as I LOVE this city, Fairfield will ALWAYS be home. I have many fond memories there. Now the pic of "Dog 'N Suds" was before my time, but I know The Strand Theater very well! Spent many a Friday and Saturday night there, having to use the pay phone to call mom and dad to pick my friends and me up. Now that is telling my age!! HAHA! Oh how I miss the simpler times before cell phones!! Those were the days...and I realize I just sounded like an OLD person writing that! haha! Anyway, I made lots of good friends, and lots of good memories in that little ole' town. Love or hate it, I bet you have some good friends and memories from there, too.
