Sometimes walking the Christian walk isn't always easy, or standing up for what is right, but I know in the end it's ALL worth it!! Nothing in this world matters, and if you think it does?? Well, you will soon find out like Solomon that, "everything is meaningless." A friend sent this to me today on an email, and I just loved what it had to say, and wanted to share!! If you're going through a valley right now in your walk, and trying to do the right thing, but struggling to stand up for what is, don't give up. Hang on these words. They are definitely helping me realize that nothing matters here other than consuming our lives in GOD, and if he is not FIRST, nothing will ever make sense!!! God Bless!!
I will speak the truth in love and take stands on issues of righteousness. I will not accept popularity at the cost of compromising my convictions. Today I want to soar like an eagle rather than blend like a chameleon. I'd rather face trouble for what's right than succeed in what's wrong. If I am misunderstood or rejected or hurt in the battle of faith, hope, and love, I will seek the healing of Christ, the Wound Healer.
