Two Years!!

It is hard to believe that the NorthField Church is getting ready to celebrate it's 2nd anniversary this Sunday!! NorthField is a satellite campus of the Madison Church of Christ in Madison, TN. I have been a part of NorthField since the beginning, and it's hard to believe that we started out with 85 people, and now we have a little over 200!! We first began meeting in a school cafeteria, but starting Sunday we are moving into the school gymnasium because we are outgrowing the cafeteria! How awesome is that?? God is truly blessing us in our work with this church. I'm so excited to be a part of it, and I can't wait to see where the future takes us. I've heard so many incredible things from members who were looking for a church home. I can honestly say that this church is like no other I've ever been a part of. Most churches I've been to go something like this, you just show up for your hour or two, have your "social time", and go home until the following week. At NorthField, we are not like that. It's about getting to know people on a deeper, personal level, plus we have to work setting up and tearing down each week because the cafeteria has been our "sanctuary". There are no padded pews here! I love the fact that we meet in a school cafeteria, and soon to be gym, because church is not about BIG buildings. Church is about being Christ to a lost world! Pretty sure Jesus never taught in a multi-million dollar building! I just love this church!! I can't say it enough! Unfortunately, I will be out of town this weekend attending a conference that is near to my heart, and I'm really torn about not being here for the 2nd anniversary, but I feel God calling me to attend this conference. So please be in prayer for Sunday to be greater than we ever dreamed or imagined for God's glory, and that we will just continue to grow! I see God doing BIG things with NorthField, and that's exciting!!! God Bless!!
