Power Of Prayer!!

I love to pray, and the biggest reason I love it is the joy I feel when I SEE God answering those prayers. You know, it's really not hard to pray for things, the hardest thing is to BELIEVE they're going to happen. At least that's the case for me. Oh sure, I pray for things all the time, but Satan is in the back of my mind trying to get me to doubt all the time. I hear Him whispering, "You know that's not gonna happen." Ugh! I HATE when that happens because then I start doubting, and I let Satan get the best of me. Why can't I be stronger against Him, and just MAKE Him get out of my head so I will have a faith and belief that is unstoppable. It is written that if we pray and BELIEVE that we've already received it, it's going to happen. So, in my prayer life, I'm trying to do just that. Everything I pray for, I'm going into it with the attitude that it's already happened or going to happen. And the result?? First thing this morning, I log on Facebook (because that's just what ALL of us HAVE to do...at least we think to get our day going. Why do I care what someone's status says? I'm going to Wal-Mart. Well how nice...:-)),and as I'm scrolling down my home page, just waiting to see something exciting (which is rare.:-)), I see 2 friends status updates that pertain to something I prayed for yesterday and last night, and they don't even know. One specifically brought a huge smile to my face. It was like I'd had a direct line to God last night on what I was praying for with this friend. And the crazy thing?? This is the second time it's happened in the past few months. You can call it what you want, but I KNOW that is God answering my request. They have no clue, but I do. :-) So, take it from me, if you doubt the power of prayer, I have one thing to say....DON'T!! It works! There have been too many instances in my life where I've seen God answer. He is there, BELIEVE IT!! And when you pray, pray fervently, pray without ceasing, and again... BELIEVE IT!!! Don't pray just once, and expect your answer, keep bringing your petitions before God. He is ready, and he is waiting for YOU to talk to Him!! Your faith will grow so much if you just talk to Him. Just make sure you start setting aside time in your day to spend with the Lord. You'll be amazed at the things He does, and how your faith will grow!! We need Him, and nothing, I mean NOTHING makes sense without Him!!!! He may not always answer the way we want, but He knows BEST, and He will answer in some way!! Trust Him!!!
