Bring On 2011!!!!

I'm not usually one to make New Year's Resolutions, mostly because I think it's a waste of time, and why do we do this at the New Year?? Can't you make resolutions ANY time?? If we want to truly change, we should resolve to do it NOW, not just at the New Year. I'm not knocking people who make New Year's Resolutions, I'm just sayin', and really? Who even keeps them?? People are always going to "lose weight", and I'm going to read more...yeah, like that really happens!!! :-) I am not going into detail on my blog, but I just want to say that I'm excited for 2011!! I've been feeling God calling me to make some changes, and I do believe this year is going to be the year to do just that. I've sat around not doing much for HIS kingdom in the past, and this year, I want to make that a different story. I'm hearing His voice loud and clear to get off my rear end and do some things differently this year, and I'm excited to see where He leads me, and what His plans are. I'm ready to go where HE wants me to go, and do what HE wants me to do. I for sure know one plan that He wants for me, and I'm just waiting for him to kick that door open, and let me start doing it, so please be praying for that. It doesn't matter what it is, God knows, and I just ask for your prayers. Yes friends, 2011 is here, and it's bringing about a new start for all of us. What about you?? What will YOU hear God telling YOU to do in 2011?? Are you listening to Him?? You will be amazed by His blessings if you just give it ALL to Him, and let Him lead you through this ole' world. There is NOTHING here that can ever make you happy the way God does. If you don't have Him first in your life, you might as well get used to hurt and heartache. You've got to get right with God to find TRUE happiness. I'm excited for new things that will be all for HIS glory this year, not mine!! I love God more than anything, and I don't care if people think I'm a "religious nut" because I'm in love with my God, and I have to tell the world. It's time for Christians to step it up, and stop "playing" Christian and truly be one! So many times I see no difference in us and the world, and we need to stop letting the world creep in on us and accepting things that Christians shouldn't be doing. I get so excited about God, and there is NOTHING in this world that makes me want to stay here!! I realize this blog is all over the place, but I just have so many thoughts running through my head that it's all coming out in this blog!! I pray you've had a wonderful day, and make a promise to yourself now that YOU will LISTEN to God in 2011!! He's got big plans for all of us if we will be quiet and listen!! God bless!!
