CD Release Party!!!

Wow! I'm finally getting a chance to update my blog about the CD Release Party this past Friday night. 1WORD.....SPEECHLESS!!! I know I am continuously saying how much God is blessing us through this ministry, and yet I have to say it again. We were overwhelmed by everything on Friday night, we sang for a standing room only crowd. We never expected that, and it was just pretty doggone cool! We performed about 5 songs from our concert set, and then we had a period of worship where we asked everyone to join in with us singing praises to our God! The night completely moved me, and I think it did the same for other members of 1WORD, as well as the people who attended. I was blessed when a woman came to me in tears saying "You guys blessed me more than you'll ever know. It's been a really tough week, and I really needed this tonight!!" Those are the words that mean more to me than anything. For me, this ministry is not about me. It's not about MY glory, or how "good" I am, it's about God, it's about touching lives, it's about making God known to many who may not know him, or are not as close to Him as they want to be. This is why I love to do this. I want people to know how awesome God is, and you are never truly happy until He is FIRST in your life, and put above everything else in this world. If I do nothing more than touch one person in the audience, I am fulfilled. There's just no greater "high" than knowing someone was moved by what we are doing. Thank you to all who are reading that were in attendance Friday night, we could have never had this night without all of you, to those who were there in spirit and played our cd in our honor of us during that time, we thank you, too! Thank you for all the awesome compliments you have given and continue giving to us! Please continue to pray for 1WORD that we will stay completely focused and devoted to God. I pray we may grow in our faith, and let God just lead us where he may, and we go where He wants us to go. We have lots of good things coming our way, and we are so excited!! It's just absolutely humbling, and God is SO good!! Hope you've all had a wonderful day!!
