Humbled!!
Today was outstanding!! I'm blown away at the awesome things God is doing with 1WORD. We are truly blessed! I just can't say this enough!! Today we had a gig for a church having a music festival. The audience was so well receiving of us, but what touched me and humbled me most was what happened AFTER we sang, as we were leaving the church. A lady came up to each one of us, and gave us a hug. She just thanked us over and over for coming, and told us how much our music touched her. She said she had to get up and get some tissues because she was crying. In that moment, it hit me hard that THIS is why 1WORD does what we do. It's not about us, it's not about us being SO talented, it's not for OUR glory, but it's for God's glory! If I can sing a song, and bring someone closer to God, then I'm doing what the Lord wants me to do, and I want to be used for Him. God is the one who allows me to be a part of such a great group, and given me a talent to use for HIM. I sometimes still have to pinch myself to make me realize I'm not dreaming, but I'm actually LIVING my dream! I am finally able to use my passion for the Lord in a way I have always wanted to, and it's the greatest feeling in the world!! It is my prayer that 1WORD continues to touch people, and change lives of everyone we sing for!! I just want God to use us, and today was proof enough for me that He is!! Wow! He is awesome!! Thank you all for letting me share my exciting story!! I hope you've all had a blessed Saturday!!!

I think I'm going to have to buy one of your CD's. I have one my sister gave of Praise songs she and her praise team sang at one time. It's uploaded onto my phone mp3 player. I listen to it for personal worship all the time--especially while traveling. Sounds like your group is really good. I think may be time to replace or add to my personal worship collection. :)
Thank you SO much, Ron! I just felt the need to share that story. It really does my heart good when I see people moved by God, and this lady surely was. It was just awesome!! And by all means I would LOVE for you to have a cd. I think you will really enjoy it. I am wearing it out in my car, and at night I use it for my own personal worship time. I would really be honored for you to have one. Thanks! :-)
