Great Day!!

Well, it has been a great day! What more can I say?? We had our first official, "open to the public" church service at Northfield today, and it was SO uplifting! I am so thankful to be a part of this satellite church! It really does my heart good when you hear stories of people being uplifted by the singing!! I am so blessed to sing on the Praise Team with the most wonderful group of people every single Sunday who do not just "sing the words", but really want to worship God! Today is also Dad's birthday, so after church we went to Texas Roadhouse with some friends to celebrate! Apparently at Texas Roadhouse when you tell the waiter/waitress it's your birthday, you don't get a free dessert, but you just get embarrassed to death!! They wheel out a saddle and yell at the top of their lungs that it's your birthday, and then scream out a BIG "YEE HAW!!!" So the whole place is staring at you! HAHA! Well, bless my dad's heart, he's such a good sport and played along! I knew my dad could have died because he doesn't like drawing attention to himself!! :-) I'm SURE he won't mind me posting this picture, since it's already on Facebook, too! haha! It's been the perfect day, and I'm blessed beyond words! I hope you've all had a wonderful day as well!
