HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Halloween used to be one of my favorite holidays as a kid. DUH, I wonder why? :-) Kids always love Halloween. I wonder just how much candy is consumed at this time of year?? ha ha! I'm sure all parents love to have their kids hyped up on sugar. My parents were always good to "monitor" how much candy my brother and I consumed. Probably a good thing, I'm already hyper enough without sugar. :-) I think the most fun I ever had around Halloween was when I was older, and we did the forbidden "TPing", or as they say down here in TN "rolling". I will never forget doing this one year when I was a Senior in high school. A couple of my friends and I (of course is it was MY idea, I know you are all shocked) went TPing, me being the brilliant person I am, decided to go TP some twins that I had a crush on. Well, I'm driving, we go to the house that I thought was their house. We sneak up to the house and probably threw one roll when we start hearing dogs barking and running after us, and then a guy comes out with a shot gun. The next thing I know, we are running for our lives, I tripped and fell, and got mud all over me. We were scared to death. My friends were about ready to kill me. Best I recall our night ended there, other than a trip to McDonalds for some hot chocolate. On Monday morning, I'm talking to the twins mom about the whole incident she says "That was you?? You did get the wrong house, that was my father-in-law's house, and he was just messing around." Oh gee, well I'm glad he thought it was funny because we sure didn't. I don't think I've been TPing since. HA HA! Oh the memories of small town livin'! May you all have a wonderful Halloween, and not be chased by any dogs or shot guns! Please feel free to share some good Halloween memories with me!
